Whitelist Playable Servers in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)

If your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account has IP restrictions enabled, it may block third-party services like Playable from connecting and inserting video embed codes.

This typically happens when the setting is configured to:

“Log Violations and Deny Access”


How to Fix This

To allow Playable to connect to your SFMC account, you will need to whitelist the IP ranges used by Playable servers.

Steps:

  1. In SFMC, go to:
    Setup → Settings → Security → Security Settings

  2. Locate:
    Restrict Logins by IP Address

  3. Click on:
    Login IP Allowlist

  4. Add the following IP ranges:

    8.34.208.0 - 8.34.223.255
    8.35.192.0 - 8.35.201.255

  5. Save your changes
